Homework - What we know so far. First of all, we covered media forms also known as sectors texts and industries. There are many different media forms these consist of the following social media, radio, advertisement, television, films, music and many other forms on the internet. Secondly, we went over the stages of production whilst creating a piece of media these consist of; pre-production, production and post-production, post-production is also known as editing. Next, we covered genre, genre relates to everything to do with media in general if it is a media form it has a genre. There are many different genres and there are also many sub-genres and hybrid genres. A sub-genre is a subdivision of a genre so, for example, fiction and non-fiction are two different genres whereas suspense fiction is a sub-genre. A hybrid genre is a cross or a mix of two genres.
